From leash training and outdoor adventures to building confidence and trust, North Paws is inspired by the everyday journey of exploring the world alongside your cat. Built from real experiences shared between a cat and her owner, this community represents resilience, connection, and the idea that even the hardest journeys can lead to something meaningful. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where cat owners can discover training tips, outdoor inspiration, and products designed for safe adventures together while celebrating the unique bond that grows through every step of the journey. Meet the heart behind North Paws, Milyncia and Isis. I once thought freedom meant having everything I ever wanted. It took losing almost everything to understand what true freedom really is. There was a time when Isis and I were constantly on the move, learning how to adapt to uncertainty while continuing forward together. Giving up my cat was never an option. Through every mile and every new place, Isis stayed beside me, sleeping on my chest or curled up near my legs. Along the way, we learned and adapted to life on a leash, exploring new places together, building trust through every walk, and finding comfort in simply having each other no matter where we ended up. What started as survival slowly became adventure. No matter where we went, I always carried his travel bag and his little bed so he would have something familiar something that still felt like home. Those moments taught me that home is not always a place; sometimes, it's simply who stays beside you when everything else falls apart. North Paws was built from that journey from resilience, loyalty, and the belief that adventure is not about perfection, but about continuing forward together. This community is for the people who refuse to give up, who find peace in nature, and who understand that the strongest bonds are often built during the hardest moments. Looking back, I'm overall thankful for the experience. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of appreciating the simple moments. Through every challenge, Isis and I learned how to trust each other, keep moving forward, and find freedom in the journey itself and now, we're able to share that journey with you.
